It’s time for another seasonal TBR TTT! I love these topics, and I know you do too. I’m fully immersed in Christmas novels right now, but I know I’ll be itching for a change of pace by the middle of next week. There’s so much I want to read! I’m excited to see what’s on your list as well. I’m limiting my list to books that are either out already or will be coming out this winter. I’ve got a TON of ARCs that come out in the spring and summer, but that’s no fun to talk about right now when they’re not easily accessible soon!
A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
A contemporary fantasy retelling of Beauty and the Beast! So excited!
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
I love books about fae, and I never stop hearing about this one.
The Beholder by Anna Bright
An Odyssey retelling sounds cool, even though I’ve never read The Odyssey. lol. But I love fantasies on the high seas and look at that cover!
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
SO EXCITED to read more from the author of The Hating Game, which I adored!
Once Upon a River by Dianne Setterfield
“Replete with folklore, suspense and romance, as well as with the urgent scientific curiosity of the Darwinian age, Once Upon a River is as richly atmospheric”
Come Find Me by Megan Miranda
“…a captivating thriller about two teens who connect when each discovers a mysterious radio frequency, which suggests their family tragedies are mysteriously connected.”
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren
Because why not?? I love this author duo!
The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton
I’ve always wanted to read a book by Kate Morton, and this one sounds great! I’m starting to really love historical mysteries.
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
I’m excited for her newest book! She’s one of my favorite authors.
An Age of License: A Travelogue by Lucy Kinsley
A graphic novel travelogue!! I just got this from my secret sister and cannot WAIT to read it!
Which books are you excited to read this winter?
I really loved A Curse So Dark and Lonely, hope you enjoy it!

I’ve head so many good things about “The Hating Game” but haven’t read it. Also, Kate Morton’s books have been appearing on Booktube and the like which makes me think I should take a look at them, too. :) Happy winter TBR-ing.

I loved Half-Night Stand!

I thought Once Upon a River was brilliant so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Having loved Kate Morton’s books in the past, I struggled with a few of her more recent ones (The Distant Hours I’m looking at you 😀) But for me The Clockmaker’s Daughter was a return to form. Yes it’s long, there are a long t of characters and switches of time period, but I felt it repaid the concentration required.

I am SO reading COME FIND ME. Megan Miranda is so good at weaving mysteries. Also, the Brigid Kemmererererer book is definitely happening. Don’t forget to let me know when you’re reading it so I can start reading it too. It’s such a large book, I need the added motivation to start it!!

I hope you enjoy An Age of License. I love Lucy’s books so much. My Winter TBR is mostly Christmas related books, which I’ll read after Christmas since I’m running out of time. LOL

Sounds like fun! The Clockmaker’s Daughter is on my TBR, too.
I did my list exclusively on Discworld books this week, because I’m hosting a Discworld read-a-long next year and I’ve started planning for it.

Please read Kate Morton’s other books. I didn’t like The Clockmaker’s Daughter at all. I thought it was very different from her others. But I’ve reread everything else she’s written. My favorite book of hers is The House At Riverton.
I discovered Tessa Dare this year and fell in love with her stories. I also am pee-in-my-pants excited over Sally Thorne’s sophomore release. I read The Hating Game at least five times this year.
Ooh, snap – I also have The Cruel Prince on my list! I’m in my usual winter mood of “Read ALL the dark fantasy” so I’m hoping for great things from that one!

Sally Thorne is a definite for me too. So excited!!! I love all CLo’s books this year. I hope you like Half-Night. People are pretty split on it, but I loved it.
I really enjoyed The Cruel Prince and have heard a lot of good things about all the other books on your list. I too really want to read a book by Kate Morgan at some point. Happy Reading!
Kate Morton** It is finals service at the library so my brain is fried. (I am a Teen Librarian.) It is just a tad bit busy. lol
I’m starting The Most Wonderful Time of the Year by Joanna Bolouri today which will be my only Christmas book this year. It sounds so sweet hand fun, so I’m looking forward to it :)
I just recently read The Cruel Prince and found myself really loving it! I remember reading Holly Black books in high school and wasn’t sure if I would still love her books, and I do! Come Find Me sounds really good. I will have to check that one out.
