WaitingOnWednesday
Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. We book lovers always have trouble waiting until the release of an author’s new book, whether it be part of a series or not. This is where we get to gush and be really excited!

This is my very first time participating in this feature, and I am super excited That are so many awesome sounding books coming out soon, so let’s hope this post isn’t too long!

Meant to Be by Lauren Morrill
Release Date: November 13, 2012
Meant to be or not meant to be . . . that is the question.

It’s one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she’s queen of following rules and being prepared. That’s why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that’s also why she’s chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB (“meant to be”).

But this spring break, Julia’s rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she’s partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the biggest surprise of all: true love.

Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

Why am I so excited? Well… Julia is accident prone, just like me. She’s a straight-A rule follower, just like I was. It takes place during spring break, which is going to be  perfect during the cold months. LONDON. A secret admirer. And true love! This is going to be great!

  1. I JUST started reading this this morning and it’s adorable so far. So, I can confirm – good pick!

You’re smart for spotlighting something out in less than a week. I’m pretty sure that I torture myself every Wednesday by featuring something that’s due out six-eight months from now. The wait is agonizing! ; ) Se la vie, right?

  2. I am developing quite the itchy trigger finger on Amazon with the “One click Buy” button. Darn it! (In other words, this sounds really fun and hearing others say it is means more on my credit card this month!)
