Today’s topic is a back-to-school, learning freebie! I teach in an elementary school, and we started back last Monday. The first week was chaos, as it always is, and today I danced in front of an entire school full of kids for a back-to-school assembly.
Anyway, I’m obsessed with school supplies. When the back-to-school sections start popping up at Target I get all excited. It’s so fun to walk down the rows and look at all the fun pens, notebooks, and art supplies. I want to buy it all! So I’m going to share with you book covers that feature school supplies. I’ve read a few of these books, but most of them are still on my TBR (I put asterisks by the ones I’ve read)! That’s part of the fun for me, and a cool way to feature new books rather than a handful of the same titles each week.
By Your Side by Kasie West*
A Week of Mondays by Jessica Brody*
Geek Magnet by Kieran Scott
Neurotica by Eliza Gordon
Holly Freakin’ Hughes by Kelsey Kingsley
Paper Hearts by Ali Novak
Paper Towns by John Green
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
I love your idea for this freebie! Love the To All The Boys and Paper towns covers (and books!) :)

This was such a cute prompt! I had a ton of fun with it. For my learning freebie, I decided to share some of my spreadsheet hacks that, hopefully, some bloggers can get something from. I realize that it’s very unorthodox, but I think that’s the best part about TTT! I love how everyone is encouraged to be creative with their own takes. ❤️
LOVE how you spun this topic, Jana – wish I’d thought to do this too. :D So glad to see a Kasie West book on your list (haven’t read this one yet), and of course ‘To All The Boys.’ Also, I’ve been meaning to read ‘Mondays’ for a while now.

This is such a fun idea! I recently watched the film of TATBILB and I can’t wait to get round to reading the books now; I strongly suspect I’ll love them. I really want to read Kasie West too, though her books are harder to get hold of in the UK 😔

Great idea for this week. School supply shopping was always my kiddos favorite thing to do. Nowadays they have some really nice stuff for supplies and locker decor. Have a wonderful week.

Ooh nice topic! I wouldn’t have been able to do this one myself! With my reads it would be “covers with items not to bring to school!” LOL!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

There are a couple of here that are definitely still on my TBR!
What a great idea I love these covers!
There’s just something about school supplies, isn’t there? I love all of these covers. I’ve read two of these authors, but not the books you are featuring. Maybe someday. :-) Thanks for hosting! Have a great week.

I love school supplies so much that I overspend! I have unused school supplies still from years ago. I told my kids that I will not be buying any this year! They can use what we have.
Those books are all new to me.

I could easily feature a lot of the same books – I probably do, in fact – so I went with a back to school topic that harkened back to books from my childhood.

Good topic. I love “school” stories and nonfiction about schools and teachers.
I never thought of picking books with school supplies on them! What a great pick :) I automatically thought of picture books because my son is starting preschool in a week.
Love these covers! I have always liked school supplies. I loved By Your Side, Paper Towns, and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The others are new to me, but the covers make me want to check them out. My post today is about the books I’ll be using in my first year of homeschooling my daughter.

All the books in your Top Ten Tuesday post this week are new to me! I look forward to exploring the books a bit more. I have the feeling I’ll be adding a few of them to my ever growing reading wishlist.

I went in a different direction, but I love this idea! Also, very timely inclusion of All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! I love her room in the movie, plenty of assorted school supplies there! I love your spin on the topic this week! As a stationary aficionado myself, I especially appreciate shopping for back to school supplies even though I have absolutely no need for them.

Oh my gosh! I love this idea! Now I want to see if I have time to go back and make one of these posts. I do miss the Cover Characteristic meme I used to participate in. Great picks!

It was actually really fun participating in this! This was my first time doing a Top 10 Tuesday. This week I decided to talk about 10 (actually 15 but shh) of my favorite books to read during back-to-school season.
