Welcome to another TTT! And happy spring! We hardly got a winter where I live. We broke so many seasonal records for crazy high temps and lack of snow this past winter, and spring has come in like a whirlwind. It’s warm and we’re running the AC, and my head is spinning because sometimes we’re still getting snow in June.
This week’s topic is Books On My Spring 2026 To-Read List. On a personal note, this first quarter of the year has been hard. I’ve been in a horrible reading slump. I’m very behind on my Goodreads goal for the year, my blog is being mostly neglected except for TTT, and there are a lot of unknowns for me right now. I got some news from my doctor last week that has me quite distraught and reading is very far from my mind, although I do read for about 25 minutes before going to sleep at night. Nothing is really holding my attention or distracting me from my racing inner thoughts, so the idea of writing up a list of books I hope to read over the next few months feels more difficult than it usually does. Instead of listing out my TBR, I’ve decided to share some books I’m excited to get to when I feel more like myself again (hence the title of my post). I’m disregarding any review commitments and release dates and just sharing the books I’m excited about.
If All Else Sails by Emma St. Clair

I begrudgingly go along with his grand plans, and little by little, I start to see there really is more to life than work—and more to Finn than flirting.
Which makes me wonder . . . how can someone so obviously wrong for me start to feel completely right? And more importantly . . . how do I make those feelings go away?
My Merry Mistake is an opposites attract hockey romance with all of the sizzle but none of the steam. It’s the third book in the Holidays with Hart series, but can be read as a stand alone.
