Welcome to another TTT! For those who celebrated, I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! As is always the case, as soon as Thanksgiving was over it was time for Christmas! I spent the entire weekend decorating my house for Christmas, and it’s all cozy and beautiful now. I love this time of the year!

Anyway, on to this week’s prompt: Books Set In X. Pick any setting and share books that are all set there. This could be a specific continent or country, a state, outer space, underwater, on a ship or boat, at the beach, etc. I decided to embrace my current obsession with romantic fantasy novels and go with books set in imaginary worlds. Most of these worlds are a little scary or dangerous (or are just places I’d never want to live) so I’m not necessarily saying I’d want to jump into the pages and live there, I just like reading stories that take place, well, not here. lol. I’m excited to see what direction you took this prompt in this week!

Welcome to another TTT! This Thursday is Thanksgiving in the USA, so I thought it would be fun to share the reasons why I love and am thankful for books today!

1. Books allow me to escape my life (and, let’s be honest, I need that a LOT. lol).
2. I get to visit places and worlds I’d never get to see otherwise.
3. I love meeting characters and finding new friends in them.
4. I love finding an all-consuming, amazing book and not being able to think of anything else until I finish it (I am not thankful for book hangovers, though!).
5. I get to fall in love with so many swoony book boyfriends!
6. They look really pretty on my shelves.
7. I enjoy building my permanent collection of favorite books, and they all make me smile and remember so many good reading memories every time I see them!
8. I’m never bored. I have a book with me wherever I go!
9. I’ve met so many amazing people because of my love of books. Authors, people in publishing, bloggers, narrators, and other book lovers are some of the coolest people to know.
10. Some stories have changed my life and encouraged me to think differently, taught me things, and pushed me to take risks to become a better version of myself.

Welcome to another TTT! Do yourself a favor and do not get sick this season. lol. Wear a mask, stay away from people, etc. I am still recovering from getting sick 2.5 weeks ago, and I’ve never felt older or more feeble in my life. I’m supposed to be better now! I’m not supposed to be dizzy and dealing with insomnia and feeling so weak and worn out. The cough is mostly gone, and the fever, body pain, and night sweats are gone. But these last few remaining yuckies are preventing me from feeling good and having fun. So please take care of yourself!
