Happy TTT! Another Tuesday, another week of staying home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I hope you’re doing well and staying safe! This week’s topic is a fun one! I frequently ask Twitter for book recommendations, and the books I’m sharing today are ones I bought as a result of those tweets. I’ll share my tweet, and then list off some of the books I bought/acquired because of the recommendations I received!
My Tweet:
I’m looking for really good contemporary rom-com books. I’m thinking books like The Hating Game, You Deserve Each Other, The Tourist Attraction, etc. Any recs?

1. Well Met by Jen DeLuca (Loved!)
2. Marriage on Madison Avenue by Lauren Layne
3. Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert (DNFed…)
4. Neanderthal Seeks Human by Penny Reid
My Tweet:
I REALLY loved Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. Can anyone recommend more mysteries/thrillers that take place in creepy/scary/ominous buildings, houses, mansions, etc.?

5. The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware (recommended by Riley Sager himself!) (SO GOOD)
6. The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
7. An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena
My Tweet:
Please recommend some amazing narrators/audiobooks! I’m up for nearly anything except contemporary YA (usually the narrator sounds like a teen and I get tired of listening to that…) and books with sexytimes (because I blush hearing that!!).

8. Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant (listening now and I LOVE IT)
9. Mercy House by Alena Dillon
10. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater (SO MUCH LOVE)
What books have you bought/read because someone recommended you read it?
I’d REALLY love to know if you’ve ever read something because I recommended it
to you, so please share if that’s happened!
Also, do you have any recs for me? I’m always looking for more books!

Great set up for this list, Jana!! Excited to read “Well Met.” Sounds as if it’d be great fun. :)
I love a good recommendation! An Unwanted Guest was such a nice surprise for me too.
Someone steered you right with The Scorpio Races! ;) Love your list this week!
There are some very impressive book covers. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/04/ttt-040720.html
I’ve been seeing Well Met around and just put it on hold at the library (ebook)! Glad you loved it!
I want to read a Mira Grant book because I like Horror and I think it’s so interesting that her Seanan McGuire books are SO DIFFERENT.
OOh nice ones! I picked up Broken Girls and Scorpio Races because of blogger rec’s! Still need to read them though! Lol!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Loved The Turn of the Key. And The Scorpio Races is one of my favourites, now I’m thinking I need the audiobook version too. Great idea to share recommendations you got.
An Unwanted Guest is a good thriller very Agatha Christie!
The Broken Girls was a good read. Hope you like it.
I had a lot of fun with today’s list, trying to find my favourite books by my favourite authors. Thanks for this.
Great list! I really enjoyed Well Met, too, and I’d like to try Get a Life, Chloe Brown. The Scorpio Races is another book I’ve heard amazing things about!
I’ve found some great reads by just asking, in person or on social media! Great idea.

Great post. I have been wanting to read the Tourist Attraction. Is it good?
Here is my TTT! Fantasy and YA and stuff.

How come my link is not coming up on the link bar when I entered it in?
Your link is up there! It’s #78. :)
Yes, The Tourist Attraction is one of my FAVORITE books! I’m pushing it on everyone, and love it so much!
Great list. Mercy House sounds good.
I picked up the first book of the Left Behind series and ended up reading all of the books. I am not much of a follower, so this was a first for me.
This was a great topic this week!! I haven’t done this in forever. But there’s so many books to choose from. Hope all is well!! Well Met is EXCELLENT!!
The Scorpio Races is great! Definitely an underappreciated Maggie Stiefvater book. Hope you’re well!
Fun list! I can’t think of which ones at the moment, but I know I’ve picked up some contemporaries based on your recs. Contemporary books aren’t usually on my personal radar, so I nearly always pick them up only based on friend recommendations.
The Scorpio Races was such an incredible book! It was my first Maggie Stiefvater book, I don’t even know how I came across it but I’m so happy I did.
Love The Broken Girls! And I’ve been iffy on reading The Scorpio Races for years, so maybe the next time I need an audiobook (rip commute), I’ll go for this one based off your endorsement.
I can’t recommend The Broken Girls highly enough! One of my favorite reads!
Book people are the best people, aren’t they? I love me a good recommendation. I’ve read and enjoyed both THE SUN-DOWN MOTEL and TURN OF THE KEY. A good, creepy mansion/building setting is always appealing to me!
Happy TTT!

I meant THE BROKEN GIRLS, but THE SUN-DOWN MOTEL is really good, too :)
I read all those romances, and they were all fantastic for me. Twitter did well.
I liked Well Met, Chloe Brown, and Turn of the Key… all good choices!
Asking on Twitter is a good idea! My TBR is always growing based off bloggers, facebook, and instagram.
That’s wonderful! Twitter recommendations is a great idea for this theme!
The Scorpio Races has been on my TBR list for years. One of these days, I will get around to reading it…
I have read almost all of these and many because I read awesome reviews on blogs. Great list!
