This second book in the Bridgertons series is an enemies to lovers story about a reformed rake that I really enjoyed! I quite liked Anthony in the first book, so I was excited to read his story (and more from Lady Whistledown because she is hilarious). Anthony has chosen his bride, but her sister Kate keeps getting in the way of their courtship. I loved Kate and her little corgi, Newton. She is strong and can fend for herself in any situation. The banter between her and Anthony was great, and I found this story to be funnier than the first one (even though it starts off with one of the saddest prologues ever). There’s a scene where Kate gets stung by a bee that was adorably funny. There’s another scene with a runaway Newton that had me giggling as well. Oh, and Kate goes to play Pall Mall (it sounds similar to croquet) with all the Bridgertons and it was hilarious. There were so many fun scenes in this book! We also see depth from Anthony as he struggles with anxiety regarding his late father. It was a nice, well-rounded romance with characters I really fell for. The Viscount Who Loved Me was so romantic and swoony, and I’m completely addicted to this series. I love the Bridgerton family, and can’t wait to watch more of them fall in love!
