Welcome to another TTT! Have you ever you read a book and immediately wanted more just like it, perhaps in the same genre, about the same topic or theme, by the same author, etc? I once read a medical romance and then went to find more because it was so good. I’ve discovered new authors I loved and then devoured everything else they’d ever written. I’ve read books set in a location I wanted to read more books set in. I love it when books make me want to read more books, and I think this phenomenon should be celebrated when it happens! So here we go!
The Gem Thief by Sian Ann Bessey
This book made me want more books with heists and also books with luxury travel.
Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey
Hotshot Doc made me want more workplace romances that take place in hospitals or doctors offices!
Catherine and the Pirate by Karen Hawkins
This was my first pirate romance, and I fell in love with pirates and romances set on pirate ships because of it.
Till Death by Jennifer Armentrout
This is an amazing romantic suspense, and after I finished it I immediately wanted more romantic suspense titles.
I Temporarily Do by Ellie Cahill
The fauxmance! This is one of the first fake dating books I read, and we all know I’ve read as many as possible ever since.
Lock Every Door by Riley Sager
This made me want to read all of Riley’s other books AND find more books set in creepy buildings.
The Caged Graves by Dianne K. Salerni
This made me want more spooky, southern Gothic novels.
Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare
This was my first Tessa Dare book, and started me in on ALLLL her others! I’ve almost read her entire catalog now!
Starry Night by Debbie Macomber
This book made me want more books set in Alaska.
On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves
This book made me fall in love with survival stories!
What books have you read and then gone off to find more like them?
Can you recommend any other books I might like based on my picks above?
My list was about authors I was introduced to by taking part in blog tours and whose books have gone on to be firm favourites.
I still haven’t read any of Riley Sager’s books, but I think they’ll give me that same ‘I want to read all of these’ feeling. I’ve also only read one of Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books – If There’s No Tomorrow – but that did make me want to read more of her writing, so I should have remembered that when I was writing this week’s list!

I love love loved On The Island back when I first read it! Stranded together romances (and age gap) was already one of my favorite tropes. :)
I had the same reaction to my first Sager! I needed more for sure. I also really like survival stories, so I’ll have to check out the one you mentioned.

Of your choices, the only ones I’ve read are Romancing the Duke and Starry Night. Romancing the Duke wasn’t my first Dare romance, but whichever one was sent me searching for more of her work, which is how I found When a Scot Ties the Knot, and backtracked to Romancing the Duke. Her books are delightful!

That’s okay, I get blocked sometimes and by the time I come up with an idea, it is a couple of days later. I will keep this one in my back pocket.
