Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is about books that really should be read in one sitting. Perhaps they’re super suspenseful or utterly romantic or just plain exciting, and you could not bring yourself to put it down until it was over. I usually don’t have the luxury of reading a book in one sitting. I’m kind of a slow reader (I know some of you who read a book or two a day and I’m in awe), and I require sleep and I have to do all kinds of life things, so I chose to feature books I wish I could have read in one sitting because they were too good to tear myself away from!

The Winter King by C.L. Wilson
I’m reading this one now, but it’s sooooo long so it’s taking me forever!
But it’s amazing and I just want to quit everything and finish it!

Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey
I got invested in the story and the romantic tension SO FAST and then I was a goner.

The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James
This was a super compelling mystery that got a little too intriguing for me to want to go to sleep.

Rolling In the Deep by Mira Grant
I was so unbelievably captivated by this story that I actually did read this in one sitting
and then read a bunch of the next book right after. SO GOOD.

The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
This book is so funny and delightful, and the most amazing vacation.

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
The atmosphere is intoxicating.

Till Death by Jennifer L. Armentrout
This book is scary and intense and wonderful, and I HAD TO KNOW.

The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware
This was so unsettling that I just needed to keep going until I finished it.

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager
All the heart eyes for this book! It’s just so good, and scary. So, you know, no sleeping.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
I love this book so so much. I’ve read it twice and still had a hard time putting it down on that second time!
What books have you read in one sitting (or wished you could)?

That was a lovely and interesting topic. I’m sure everyone found a lot of books they could have listed. Thanks.
Yay for a fellow sleeper!! Lol! If I didn’t need sleep to function I could totally dismantle my TBR pile! That would be so sweet! Lol! As it is though, there have been a few books I’ve read in a day! Mostly summer reads from way back when I was still in school or it was a workfree kind of day!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I forgot about The Sun Down Motel but that was definitely a book I devoured in one setting. So creepy!
Ah I should have included The Sun Down Motel and The Unhoneymooners on my list!!
I love the cover on Sun Down Motel!
Great list! I didn’t quite read Ruth Ware’s The Woman in Cabin Ten in one sitting, but it was the kind of book that felt like it should have been read all at once. It sounds like that’s a common thing with her books!
Great list of books!
If you get the chance, here’s my TTT post: https://readbakecreate.com/10-books-with-the-word-day/
Sager and St. James can always be counted on for one-sitting type reads. Once you pick one of their books up, good luck putting it down!
Happy TTT!

Interesting list, thanks for sharing!
Always love a book good enough to at least make us WANT to keep reading even if we can’t; they’re THE best sorts of reads. :)
Great list! I’ve only read ACOTAR but I definitely took a few days with it. I’ve been seeing The Unhoneymooners on quite a few lists this week so might have to take a look at it.
