Welcome to another TTT! I’m not one of those people who can read 200-300 books a year. I can’t even read 100 books a year, yet my TBR list grows exponentially as the years move on. As such, I always begin a new year looking back at all those highly anticipated releases I didn’t get to. How does one climb out from under all those amazing sounding books when more keep being added on top?? A mystery of the universe, I suppose. Today I’m sharing ten books released last year that I was super excited about and plan to make a priority this year, even though I’m already swimming in over 50 2022 books I’ve received for review. I’m not complaining! I’ll get it done eventually!

What 2021 releases were you excited for but never got to?
Have you read any of these? Which ones should I prioritize (or even leave in the past altogether)?
Just recently saw on Instagram that Lauren’s is really good so I’m hoping that one is lots of fun! Also, I’m glad to meet someone else who never reads 100 books in a year. I’m lucky if I can read 50-ish books in a year. Thought I was crazy. :)
Nope, you’re not crazy! I always set my goal for 52 books a year. Usually it’s a challenge to reach that goal, but audiobooks helped my surpass it by a few last year. :) It’s definitely nice to see someone else whose reading habits reflect my own! I have a friend who reads over 350 books a year, and I have no idea how she has the time for that! I’m in awe.
I’ve got the majority of your list to still read too and I am still bad ( probably even worse) and I still manage to be one of those readers who manage to read 350 + books a year. I managed 352 last year and already at 15 read for 2022 and a handful of those are ones that were for VBTs this year and some prescheduled review tour stops. I try honestly but I literally have a never ending book pile and it doesnt help that new releases end up coming and look super good too.

352 books read in a year! That’s amazing. I have no idea how you do it! I read 64 last year, and thought that was a huge accomplishment. LOL. I guess it’s nice to know that all readers have this problem of a never-ending TBR pile. I mean, it’s not a bad problem to have, right? I’ll never complain about having too many books to read, I’ll just feel a sense of urgency and panic that I’ll surely never get to them all! LOL
The people we meet on vacation is on my TBR as well. Not my normal reading preference, but it just seems like so much fun!

I finished Meet Me in London last night and it was better than I expected it to be from the first couple chapters. It’s mostly not centered around Christmas (although it is set at that time of the year), so if you’d marked it to read around the holidays, don’t feel like you have to hold off.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like Defy The Night, it was quite generic. People We Meet On Vacation is on my list too.

I hope to read To Sir, With Love as well. I read Love at First and found it to be an okay read.

I’ve read Layne’s, Hunting’s, and Clayborn’s. Those three were definitely worth a read. I hope you can find time to get to some of these in 2022.

Love at First sounds really cute! I’ve seen it mentioned a lot, but haven’t read it. There are just so many good books!

Same here – I buy far more books than I can ever hope to read in a year, even if I were to do little else but read. But buying is half the fun isn’t it…and there are far more expensive things I could be doing with my time (like photography or sailing)…
