Top Ten Books with Geographical Terms in the Title

Posted September 12, 2022 by Jana in Top Ten Tuesday / 10 Comments

Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic was submitted by Lisa of Hopewell, and is Books with Geographical Terms in the Title. I love geography and nature, so this topic sounds pretty fun to me. I found a really great list of geographic terms here to help get the brainstorm going, but some of my favorites are: mountain, island, bay, lake, beach, coast, hamlet, and ocean. I recommend logging into Goodreads and searching your shelves or their book database with some of your favorite terms and see what pops up. You might be surprised how many you’ve read or want to read. I hope you have fun with one! Plus it seems easier than some, which is awesome because it’s a struggle to drag myself away from Disney Dreamlight Valley on the Switch right now! Is anyone else playing and loving this??

1. On the Island by Tracey Garvis-Graves
2. The Secret Cove in Croatia by Julie Caplin
3. Stranger In the Lake by Kimberly Belle
4. Winter at the Beach by Shelia Roberts
5. The Beekeeper at Elderflower Grove by Jaimie Admans
6. Highland Knight by Cindy Miles
7. The Inn at Ocean’s Edge by Colleen Coble
8. By Love or by Sea by Rachel Harlin
9. Sandpiper Shore by Debbie Mason
10. The Killing Tide by Dani Pettrey

There were SO many titles I could choose from, so I kind of gravitated towards the ones I never see anyone talking about online (well, except for On the Island, but I had to include at least one favorite!). Have you read any of these?

  1. You’re right, I thought this was going to be a hard topic when I first saw it but in fact I found so many examples from books I’ve read. Well done Lisa for suggesting it.
