Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is about audiobook narrators! If you’re not a fan of audiobooks, take this opportunity to share celebrities whose voices might change your mind if they were to start narrating audiobooks! This is a bit of a narrower topic than usual, so if audiobooks really aren’t something you’re interested in then choose a topic that works for you, or go back and pick a past topic you might have missed if you’d rather!
I have fallen in love with audiobooks. Since I started crocheting, I love them even more because I can read and work on a project at the same time! And I love, love a good narrator. If I love a book but not the narrator, I can’t listen. So I’m super excited to see which narrators you love because maybe I’ll find more to add to my list! I thought I’d share the names of narrators I love, along with a book or two I’ve listened to and consider to be a favorite.
1. Saskia Maarleveld (The Diamond Eye and The Rose Code by Kate Quinn and What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon)
2. Mary Jane Wells (The Ravenels series by Lisa Kleypas)
3. Teddy Hamilton (The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams, Not So Nice Guy by R.S. Grey,
4. Andi Arndt (Take Me Back by Meghan March and Heidi’s Guide to Four Letter Words by Tara Sivec & Andi Arndt)
5. Richard Armitage (Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeny and Wanderlust by Lauren Blakely)
6. Nicola Barber (Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
7. Elizabeth Knowelden (The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss)
8. Luci Christian (Date Me Like You Mean It by R.S. Grey and Call Me Maybe by Cara Bastone)
9. Imogen Church (The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware)
10. Fiona Hardingham (The Lady Helen Trilogy by Alison Goodman and The Scorpio Race by Maggie Stiefvater — I love Steve West in this, too)
Tell me how you feel about audiobooks! Do you like them? No?
Who are some of your favorite narrators?
Is there a celebrity you’d love to see become an audiobook narrator?

Fiona Hardingham made my list too. I like Richard Armitage as an actor but I don’t think I’ve ever listened to him read an audiobook. I’ll have to look out for him. Fun topic!
I don’t listen to audio books, at least not regularity and it just isn’t something I lean towards, but Richard Armitage would always be a great voice! :)
Yes to Saskia Maarleveld enjoyed a Kate Quinn book she wrote. Would happily listen to her. I didn’t put her on my list but she is good.
Fiona Hardingham is on my list as well! I only managed seven (with lots of honourable mentions though), but totally forgot about Richard Armitage! I also loved him in His & Hers (also by Alice Feeney).
Great list! I enjoy audiobooks when I am driving. They really pass the time.
I tried to Crochet once. It didn’t work out. I managed a dodgey maybe quarter of a scarf – not even that!
I don’t have the attention span to listen to an Audiobook so I have chosen to do my Spring TBR plans.
Have a good week!
Nice! All totally new to me ones! Not an audiobook reader myself, so I picked 10 people that I would like to narrate an audiobook. Two of them definitely did narrate some, but just never got on the audiobook kick myself.
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I listen while I cross stitch — isn’t it wonderful to be able to read while you work on something else?!
This is a fabulous topic and one I am super excited about. I have not listened to any of the audiobook narrators you have recommend, so that’s 10 for my list ;) Thanks for the recommendations. Have a great week and happy listening!!
Maarleveld, Hamilton, and Arndt all made my list. I’ve also enjoyed Armitage’s narration before. Nice list!
I want to say I have some Tolkien books narrated by Richard Armitage. Hmm…
Great list! Fiona Hardingham is one of my favorites, too.
What the Wind Knows is one of my favorites book, i read multiple times the physical copy, i will check the audiobook :)
I don’t listen to a lot of audiobooks, but I did start listening to more of them this year. Have a great week! :-)
Maarleveld is on my list today, too. I’ve only listened to one book read by her, but she narrates several more that I really want to listen to.
Happy TTT!

I had no idea Richard Armitage had narrated audiobooks, but I bet it’s awesome. Thinking about actors that have narrated audiobooks, there is a full casted version of the Chronicles of Narnia audiobooks and Kenneth Branagh and Patrick Stewart were two of the narrators. It’s very well done!
