Welcome to another TTT! The end of January is here, and so this is the last 2023 recap week! I really love recapping the previous year every January, but I also love looking forward to new things! This week’s topic is top ten new-to-me authors I discovered in 2023. I read books from 23 new-to-me authors in 2023, so this topic was a little difficult for me! I’m also sharing the titles of the books I enjoyed by those authors. You’ll have to let me know if any of these authors are your favorites, and what else I should read from them!

I am guessing many of us met Rebecca Yarros books for the first time last year. Madeleine Martin I had read and liked before.

I always like what I read by Jenny. Save the Date was a laugh out load fun one. And Courtney Walsh too writes good stories, some with deeper themes. Glad you had some great 2023 discoveries.
OOh nice! Yarros made my list too! I read a novella by Sands eons ago! Although I could never tell if that was apart of a larger series. I didn’t think it was based on what I found of her current work at the time! Great finds!

Awww – I love Jenny B. Jones. I followed her books really closely for a while. She’s really funny. I haven’t read First to Fall, though. I’ll add it to my list! :)

I haven’t read any of these, but I love the title Love Loss and Pasta Sauce! It just sounds so fun.
I want to read Rebecca Yarros’ books too. I finally read a book–Verity–byby Colleen Hoover last year for the first time and enjoyed it. A book club member recommended it to me.
Did you see that Courtney Walsh has a new one coming out soon? It’s called My Lucky Charm and the cover is SO cute!! I can’t wait. Jenny B. Jones is another one that I want to read more by as well. How are you and your family doing?

I’ve read three books by Harmon and really loved two of them (the other was just okay): WHERE THE LOST WANDER and A GIRL CALLED SAMSON. They’re both excellent.

I’ve only read one of these authors, Amy Harmon. I read her A DIFFERENT BLUE. I really enjoyed it. I need to read more of her books. Did you know she’s from Utah? Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed all of these.

Except for Amy Harmon, whom I absolutely adore and hope you find additional books you like by her as well! From Sand and Ash is my leading favorite, though as a WWII book it is of course a pretty heavy read. (and on second glance, I did read one from Jenny B. Jones — There You’ll Find Me, because I loved the movie based on it so much)
I know i will love reading Madeline Martin!!
