Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is Books I Was Assigned to Read in School. These can be books you loved or hated. Or just tolerated. Bonus points if you share some of your thoughts on the titles!
I won’t be posting a list this week, as I’m not feeling well, but here’s the link-up for you! I’ll be back next week!
Please share with me a title or two of a required read that stuck with you, for good or bad.
How do you feel about required reading in school?

Get well soon!
Hope you feel better soon!

A book that stuck with me was the Yearling by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings…It was terrible, the saddest thing I’ve ever read, I don’t know why it was assigned. On the subject of required reading, I absolutely think kids should be exposed to reading, but I wish it was done in a way that made reading enjoyable. I love to read, but there were very few books assigned to me that I enjoyed. Kids should be allowed to pick their own books so they are at least reading something they enjoy, even if they aren’t destined to be life long bookworms.
Hope you feel better quickly!
