We had four of the same on our list! And I’ve also read the Eloisa James and the Jenni James. I’ll have to look up these other retellings!! <3

I’ve read Cruel Beauty and I thoroughly enjoyed it! :-) I hope you like these when you get around to them.
While Cruel Beauty and Uprooted were both AMAZing I have to admit that Beauty has been my favorite book since I was twelve years old. Slightly biased. But you should read it.
I loved Uprooted! This is one of the books I think I will read again pretty soon. Hope you enjoy it just as much :)

What a unique spin on this week’s theme. I had no idea that there were so many different retellings of Beauty and the Beast. How neat.
I’m assuming you’ll be watching or have already watched the live action Beauty and the Beast movie as well?! The previews for it look amazing.

I also have Cruel Beauty and Uprooted on my TBR.. No idea the latter was a Beauty and the Beast retelling though! But I am very excited to read both…
I’ve read Beauty (LOVED!) and Beauty and the HIghland Beast (just okay). I do want to read the Eloisa James one, though.
I love Beauty and the Beast retelling but not heard of most of these! I wasn’t a huge fan of Cruel Beauty but most others seem to like it, so hope you do. :)
I need to try Uprooted! It sounds wonderful!

FUN idea/spin. I actually wanted to do a BATB theme too, but went ahead with the spring TBR (which are always fun to put together). I have plenty of BATB themed things coming later this week and into next. :)

I have Uprooted, had no idea it was a B&TB retelling. Now I’m even more excited for it!
I haven’t heard of most of these. I really want to read Cruel Beauty, I’m thinking about trying Beauty, and I also really want to read Hunted! But I’ll definitely have to look up a few of these.
I know Angela Carter has two short stories based on Beauty and the Beast in her Bloody Chamber collection, if you like short stories! :) Oooh, and Ugly and the Beast in Feminist Fairy Tales by Barbara G. Walker!
