If you live on the other side of the world, please tell us what’s on your Fall to-be-read list this year. :)
Happy first day of spring! I love the green and the flowers and the bird songs that spring brings, so I’m excited even though I love cold weather and snow. This week’s topic encourages you to look ahead and see what you’re excited to read this season.
Do you feel like you tend to read certain kinds of books during this time of year? I definitely feel like the seasons influence the books I pick. I tend to gravitate towards contemporary romance and light women’s fiction. But I’m such a mood reader. lol. I always struggled with these seasonal TBRs when we did them at The Broke and the Bookish, but they were so popular that I knew I couldn’t get rid of them when I took over. So… Here’s my list of books that I want to read soon, but who knows if I really will?

By the Book by Julia Sonneborn
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory
Freshmen by Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivison
When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill

The Distance from Me to You by Marina Gessner
There You’ll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones
By Your Side by Kasie West
A Field Guide for Heartbreakers by Kristen Tracy

Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett
The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
Have you read any of these yet? What did you think?
What’s on your spring TBR?

I’m such a mood reader too! I haven’t heard of any of those books but the covers are so cute! Happy reading :)
These prompts are among my most favorite. Love the seasonal TBRs.
Enjoy “There You’ll Find Me.” It’s lovely. Also, I’m curious about “Starry Eyes.” It sounds really sweet. :)
Your list definitely brings to mind spring! I really want to read The Wedding Date. By the Book sounds good too. I hope you have a great week!
OMG Jana… You should read The Duchess Deal SOON… I just read it and I love it SO much. Im actually sad I couldn’t read Book too yet.. I don’t know where to get an ARC.
Here’s my TTT: https://lilisblissfulpages.wordpress.com/2018/03/20/top-ten-tuesdays-13-top-ten-books-on-my-spring-tbr/
I’m definitely a mood reader, too, and tend to drift toward lighter fare as the weather gets nicer. I just picked up Starry Eyes. It looks fun!
I’ve read “The Distance From Me to You” and quite liked it. However, I thought it was a travelogue first and a YA novel second – it’s not. It’s YA all the way. Enjoyable YA though :-)
I’ve heard good things about Jenn Bennett’s STARRY EYES! I’m actually quite excited to read it myself! If I ever get to it that is.
Cute picks! All new to me ones! Hope you enjoy them all this Spring!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Those covers definitely suggest spring! I love the spring wildflowers in my area – Central Texas. We have lots of them and the bluebonnets are already out. Yay!
Those covers remind me of Spring and Summer!! I can’t wait for the cold to leave!! Some really cute covers :) Good luck getting through your list!
I haven’t heard of any of these except By The Book (which looked great), but I don’t read a lot of romance, so that’s not particularly surprising. I think that’s interesting that your reading preferences change by season, though! I’d never even given any thought to that, and I thought surely mine don’t. But I read an awful lot of YA and mid-grade over Christmas and late winter, and now, looking at my spring list, it’s a lot of historical fiction and really only one YA book. That’s interesting.
I love topics like this, because it helps me to plan out my reads. Although, like you, I tend to gravitate to certain genres at different times of the year. For the past few months, I’ve binged on mysteries so I picked up a dystopia which is something I haven’t read in a long time and am loving it! So, I’ll probably read more sci-fi for a bit.
I haven’t read any of those that you’ve featured, but some would make great beach reads in the summer!
The Wedding Date sounds like a perfect, fun, and romantic spring read. Enjoy!
I haven’t heard of any of these books but all of these are so pretty :)
I am mood reader too. I never stuck to my TBRs. I basically suck at them :P
Looks like the first 2 are quite popular right now. Enjoy! Mine are here: https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/03/20/top-ten-books-on-my-spring-tbr/
I definitely tend to read lighter books in the spring and summer. Not always, but in these seasons, I tend to gravitate toward women’s fiction and contemporary adult and YA novels. Your list has a great mix of these. I added several to my TBR list on Goodreads.
Happy TTT!
The Duchess Deal is the only one on your list that I’ve read, but I loved it! I hope you do too.
My spring TBR is full of ARCs I have to read… but luckily, all of them are books I want to read.
I’m a mood reader, but I’m not sure how much of a seasonal reader I am, except around the winter holidays, when I like to read some winter- and holiday-themed romances.
Have fun and enjoy your TBR books!
Just wanted to let you know that this week’s topic is murdering my wallet!!
Great list of books!!
I loved By Your Side! I also tend to read according to my mood, so my TBR is really just a list of the many options sitting on my nightstand. I’ll pick and choose from those as the weeks go by.
I haven’t read any of these, but some of them look super cute!
I have not read a single one of these but am adding some to my own TBR :)
