I don’t know about you, but it’s really hard to keep series books straight. I have to really love a book and the characters and/or the world that the author has created to be willing to invest the time and memory space required to stick with a trilogy or series for its entire run. Today’s topic is technically about the series or trilogies I don’t plan to finish, but as I was writing up my list I came across so many series I’ve kind of abandoned but really want to finish someday (also, I did a similar TTT topic years ago and don’t have many new series to add to it)! So I decided to tweak the topic a bit to suit my needs. These are all series I appear to have quit, even though I loved what I read, but would actually really love to continue on with.
1. A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas (I’ve read books 1 & 2)
2. Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas (I’ve read books 1 & 2)
3. Rebel of the Sands trilogy by Alwyn Hamilton (I’ve read book 1)
4. Gideon’s Cove trilogy by Kristan Higgins (I’ve read book 1 & 3)
5. Boomerang trilogy by Noelle August (I’ve read books 1 & 2)
6. Frost Chronicles by Kate Avery Ellison (I’ve read books 1 & 2)
7. The Conspiracy of Us trilogy by Maggie Hall (I’ve read book 1)
8. Firebird trilogy by Claudia Gray (I’ve read book 1)
9. Heist Society series by Ally Carter (I’ve read books 1 & 2)
10. The Winner’s Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski (I’ve read book 1)
Which series should I prioritize?
Which do you recommend I not worry about?
I love both The Winner’s Trilogy and Heist Society. I hope you get an opportunity to finish them soon.
I haven’t read any of those yet, but I’m on the waiting list for the Throne of Glass series at my library (I’m currently 54th on the waiting list for Tower of Dawn, but only 4th on the waiting list for Throne of Glass).
I really need to read the Winner’s trilogy AND the Heist Society books. But unlike you, I cannot say I’ve even read one of the books in the series! :)

I have wanted to read the Heist series for a while. I have the first two books in this office…somewhere.
Ooooooo A Court of Thorns and Roses is really good, I just got caught up with that series recently! The third book isn’t as great as ACOMAF, but I still recommend finishing the series off!! So many great characters in that one ☺️
I have not read any of the series you’ve mentioned, so sadly, I cannot help you at all. I’ve heard really good things about the Court of Thorns and Roses series though.
Don’t worry about continuing Throne of Glass. Books 1&2 were awesome! Book 3 changed completely in writing style and sub-genre, and I gave up on it about half-way through, because I just didn’t care enough any longer.
I really need to finish Sarah J. Maas as well. Just for the completionist in me.

I haven’t read any of the series you listed, but I have read other books by Ally Carter. Series are hard to keep up with and I’ve abandoned some over the years – mostly without meaning to, but other books crept in and took priority. I find that I can keep up with 10 or less and that’s about it. The content is ever changing. LOL
I also haven’t finished ACOTAR, I have the last book to read but don’t know when but I have plans to get the last one and read some day :)
you’ve listed almost all the series I don’t want to read. I’ve always think reading is a personal preference so I’m sure you do like those series but I don’t.

The Winner’s Curse series is so good! Highly recommend!
Same with all of these, except Rebel of the Sands – if anything, the second book is BETTER than the first. I’d really recommend going back to it :)

Aww oww!! As I am a Booklover and loved to read books I will definitely try to read all the books which are mentioned above. If anyone is also a book lover like me and wanted to read some amazing Thriller trilogy books can go for Andre John Haddad books.
