This week you get to brag about the longest books you’ve ever read! This can be by page number, by hours and minutes in the audiobook, by days/weeks/months it took you to read it, etc. You choose how you measure “long”. For me, I’m going by page number! I’m not counting textbooks or religious texts in this list. I’m going strictly by the page numbers, and it’ll show up here even if I didn’t like it because I deserve the credit!!

Winter by Marissa Meyer

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

The Beauty of Darkness by Mary E. Pearson

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Cress by Marissa Meyer

WOW!! I didn’t know the Lunar books were THIS long (still haven’t read them) nor did I realize one of Mary’s books was so long. Goodness. Both series are on my someday-TBR so I’d best become comfortable with LOOONG books. :D
Wrote a long comment about the books but then clicked a wrong button and it erased my comment. But I did want to ask, how does the link up work? Do people who sign up have their link appear first? or is it just randomized? Because every time I refresh the page, it’s in a different order (and it doesn’t have to do with more people linking up).
Oh darn!
The link-up was weird this week, but I actually just fixed it. I accidentally used the random one instead of the “first entries at the top” one, so the list was shuffled each time the page refreshed. I fixed it now, so it’s in a fixed order. Sorry about that!
Thanks for fixing it! I was excited because I managed to be one of the first people to link up this week haha.
The Stand by Stephen King…over 1300 pages.
Ahh I‘m so excited to be taking part in this for the first time! ☺️ The Lunar Chronicles made it on my list, too, and The Book Thief almost did—I love that book. ❤️
Lovely post! Your graphics are so pretty 😍
I hope I get to Cress and Winter one day. Not my typical genre, but loved the series when I was reading it with the girls. I want to go back to The Book Thief too. The opening didn’t capture me, but I think once I get into it the story will pull me in.
I haven’t read any of these yet, but I do plan on reading the ACOTAR books at some point (probably next year) so it looks like I have more long books ahead of me. The Throne of Glass books are long too!
I went by longest page number too! I don’t have any in common with you, but I have read a few of these.
Don’t you find that long books are intimidating? I’m like “but I can read two or three shorter books in the same time” hahaha.

I TOTALLY find long books to be intimidating! I get so overwhelmed. lol
Great picks! I have a few of these on my list as well…though my page numbers are slightly off. I did use Goodreads since most of my books are spread throughout the house and I wasn’t in the mood to track them down at the time! Lol. They’re close enough! ;)
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I love how you did the graphics! Thank you so much for hosting this, my blog partner and I haven’t participated in awhile, but we’re hoping to get back to it. :)
Thank you!
Welcome back to TTT. :) I’m so happy to host it!
Love the way you’ve done this!
Thank you!
I have read 3 on your list (New Moon, Cress, and Winter). I say Winter will be on a lot of lists. I’ve only read the first 2 books in the Twilight Series. I don’t think I’ll ever read the rest because of the content in the last book. I have started Kiss of Deception, but I’m not that far into it.
I’ve read a lot of those on your list: Twilight series, The Book Thief, and Lunar Chronicles series. My longest one is It by Stephen King.
neat presentation! I’m afraid I have not read any, not even Book Thief. I actually started it, and then thought it was not for me. my post is here: https://wordsandpeace.com/2018/10/09/top-ten-longest-books-ive-ever-read/
I forgot Winter was so long. So I am glad I looked at your list before I put mine together today. When I look at it this way, I don’t get that panicky about big books. Because even though I have read big books, I do hesitate a bit when I see a chunker!! Have a great day!
Winter, the book thief and cress are the only books I read on your list. the lunar chronicles is definitely a long series.
have a lovely day.
This is a beautiful post! I’ve loved a lot of these. I forgot how long the Lunar Books are!
I haven’t read any of the Lunar Chronicles yet, but now I’ll be aware when I do that they are long books! LOL
I loved reading Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers… In fact, I loved the entire ‘His Fair Assassin’ trilogy!
Oh several of these made my list (and some would have but I limited it to one book per series / author) or I’d basically have books from 1 or 2 series!
I’m most of the way through Scarlet and, looking at this list, Cress and Winter terrify me. ;)
Jana, I did count religious texts in my lists so my longest book is The Holy Bible with 1127 pages, however The Lord of the Rings is not far behind with around 1077 pages.
I love your graphics for your top ten. I really miss the Lunar Chronicles series.
Winter is also on my list! What a long ending that series had haha
I like your graphics! I’d forgotten how long the Twilight books are. It’s been so long since I read them.
I have read the Twilight series books, and The Book Thief from your list. My longest book has to be ‘A Suitable Boy’ using number of pages..
The longest book I ever read was War and Peace- 1372 pages- but I quickly realized the war parts were dreadful and dull so mostly read the peace chapters. Even then, it was dry and confusing. I know it’s a classic and we’re supposed to love it, but…no.
Thank you for the link-up! It’s fun to check out so many different blogs.
The longest book I’ve read is Shantaram at over 900 pages. Boy was it a long one, but I felt accomplished when I finished!
Didn’t think the twilight series were that lengthy. One of the longest books I remember reading was The Legend of the Condor Heroes. Kinda thinking of reading the second one, too. Do you have the word count for you list?
