Can you believe tomorrow is the beginning of 2020!? 2019 has been a rough year for me, so I’m looking forward to a fresh start. I’ve got lots of hopes and wishes for the new year, and I’m excited to dive right in. BUT before I shift my focus to the bright and shiny 2020, I’m looking back on a few of the good things that happened to me this year. Books. Basically only books were good for me this year. lol. Here are my top ten favorite reads of 2019, presented in the order in which I read them.
1. The Gem Thief by Sian Ann Bessey
2. Three Mages and a Margarita by Annette Marie
3. The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
4. Dating by the Book by Mary Ann Marlowe
5. Lock Every Door by Riley Sager
6. Final Girls by Riley Sager
7. The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare
8. Lord Dashwood Missed Out by Tessa Dare
9. His Bride for the Taking by Tessa Dare
10. Christmas at Frozen Falls by Kiley Dunbar
Which books were your favorites of the year?
Do we have any picks in common?
I’m hopeful I’ll enjoy another Christina Lauren book better than what I read in 2019, and awww! How cute does “Christmas at Frozen Falls” look!? Makes me want to jump inside the cozy town on the cover. :) Wishing you a happy, healthy and splendid 2020, Jana!

I just bought Christmas at Frozen Falls thanks to your recommendations! :)
Wishing you a happy 2020!
How wonderful that December 31 fell on a Tuesday so we could take advantage of this for our favorite books of the year! Thanks again for these!
I loved Lock Every Door and Final Girls as well! I really can’t wait for Riley Sager’s new 2020 release. The synopsis sounds so good too.
I sincerely hope 2020 will be better for you than 2019 was. Thank you for hosting TTT all year! We all really appreciate everything you do <3 Here's to a great 2020 :)

Great choices! I loved Final Girls, too.
Final Girls is such a great book! I really need to read more Riley Sager because I’ve loved the two I’ve tried. Three Mages and A Margarita is a great title and has definitely piqued my interest. Will need to check it out! Great list, and here’s to a wonderful year in 2020 :)

I’ve seen Three Mages and a Margarita on a few people’s favourite books lists and I’ve added it to my tbr!

I’ve got Three Mages and a Margarita on my TBR list. The Wallflower Wager was edged off my list by a couple of other romances, but it was a lot of fun. And I’m grabbing His Bride for the Taking right away — I didn’t even know that one existed!
I really enjoyed the UnHoneymooners; it was so funny! Thanks so much for hosting.

Hallo, Hallo,…
Unsure why I always forget to leave a note as I fill in the linky — however, I swung back and wanted to say “thanks again!” for hosting TTT! I’ve only just shared my 9th TTT in the past six years – I am hoping for a better year of participation in 2020. Here’s to hoping that goes as planned! I took the topic a bit differently today due to Mogsy’s suggestion for focusing on #newtomeauthors of the year – turnt out I loved *wayyy!* more than 10x and it was happily within four quadrants of genre interests! Overall, I had loads of fun assembling my post today and just wanted to share the gratitude to the host.
Hope you’re having a lovely New Year’s and will have many wicked happy favourite reads in 2020!
PS: Sadly I never came across these authors *but!* I have had my eye on Tessa Dare! My list also focuses on Contemporary Fiction with a bent on Romance!
