This week’s TTT was stolen from Louise @ Foxes & Fairy Tales because I thought it was so funny! I think we book lovers tend to add books to our to-read lists and then forget about them all the time. Have you ever scrolled through your to-read list, seen a cover or title, and gone “Wait. What’s this about again? When did I add this to my list?”? I know I have! So those are the books I’m sharing today: books I once wanted to read (and probably still do), but can’t remember why I added them to my to-read list (aka what are these books even about?!). If you see a book I need to be excited about, let me know!
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella
Must’ve Done Something Good by Cheryl Cory
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig
The Chocolate Thief by Laura Florand
The Duke and I by Julia Quinn
The Bookstore by Deborah Meyler
Love Overdue by Pamela Morsi
House of Shadows by Darcy Coates
Nightchaser by Amanda Bouchet
Can anyone tell me why I wanted to read these?
The Forgotten Garden is on my tbr shelf and I hear it’s a must-read. I’m hoping to get to it this year! Great list. :)

I have SO MANY books that I have no idea why I added, or what they’re even about! But I haven’t heard of any of the books on your list, so my TBR may just be growing again.
I am so guilty of this. I’ve been purging my Goodreads list and found so many books that I simply have no idea why I added.
I love that you’ve forgotten why you wanted to read a book called The Forgotten Garden!
Nightchaser is on my TBR as well, mostly because I loved Amanda’s first book but still need to finish the trilogy to that one before starting her new series!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Kate Morton is so good, and I find Laura Florand’s books totally addictive!
It was interesting to go through my list and find books I had totally forgotten about. I only added those to my list that I had no clue as to why I bought them but I found lots of others that I really wanted to read at the time and still do.
You should try to read “The Forgotten Garden” soon. I read my The Clockmaker’s Daughter by Kate Morton and it was gripping.

The Forgotten Garden is so appropriate 😊 lol!
Great list! The only one I’ve heard of here is The Forgotten Garden, but I love the sound of The Secret History of the Pink Carnation.

Sophie Kinsella’s Remember Me? was super interesting because the MC can’t remember the last 3 years of her life which incidentally is when she did a complete life overhaul. Definitely think you should pick it up soon!
I can tell you why Pink Carnation and The Duke and I are on there! Both series are fantastic!
Besides the top 20 or so books on my TBR list, I’ve pretty much forgotten why I added all of them. My memory is just that bad! That’s why I throw a book on my TBR list on Goodreads – so I DON’T forget about it :)
Happy TTT!

I’ve heard some good things about Love Overdue, but I haven’t read it myself.

These look like fun! Though… I haven’t heard of most of them before, so I can’t tell you why you added them to your TBR. Sorry. :)

I read Remember Me? just because Kinsella wrote it, and it was as fun and cute as all her other books
I have a forgotten copy of the Forgotten Garden somewhere! My Mom busy books at Kroger and passed that one on!
I usually like Kate Morton, so I’d recommend that one. Never heard of the others though.

You might have wanted to read The Chocolate Thief because… chocolate? (That’s why I would have put this on my TBR! But hey, I’m called The Chocolate Lady so…)

I have the Forgotten Garden on my bookshelf upstairs and keep saying I am going to read it, but it hasn’t happened in a few years, so who knows.
