Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at the other blog I write for, The Broke and the Bookish.
Merry Christmas Eve! Tonight is one of my very favorite nights of the entire Christmas season. I would like to pause my life and live in Christmas Eve for a few days. I love the magic and the anticipation. I have been blessed this year with so many books from friends and from publishers! How could I possibly want anything more? The thing about books, though, is that you can never run out and you can never have too many! Here are the top ten books I’m hoping Santa has in his bag for me. :)
Fragments by Dan Wells
The Princess in the Opal Mask by Jenny Lundquist
Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality by Elizabeth Eulberg
The Funny Thing Is by Ellen DeGeneres
Charlotte Street by Danny Wallace
Love Overdue by Pamela Morsi
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
A Tale of Two Centuries by Rachel Harris
The Lost Girls by Jennifer Baggett, Holly Corbett, and Amanda Pressner
Champion by Marie Lu
So, what’s on your list for Santa? I hope he brings you all the books!

I feel like I should read Revenge of the Girl with the Great Personality solely based on the name. I just bought Legend by Marie Lu and can’t wait to read it. *off to check out some of these titles*
The name makes me super happy too! And I hear it’s darling.
I still need to read Legend as well, I just feel the need to wait until I have the whole trilogy so I can binge. I hear there are some major cliffhangers, and I’m not sure I could have handled reading them so spread apart!
First of all, I just have to mention how much I love your graphics this week! The books look too cute for words, designed to look like wrapped packages :)
I know exactly what you mean, Jana: Christmas Eve has to be one of my favourite days of the year, and it always seems to fly by. There’s nothing quite like the exciting expectation of what’s to follow and I just love the sense of anticipation it brings. I would love to just pause this moment and live in it for the next couple of days. It’s always such a letdown when it’s all over :(
As to the books you’ve chosen, I haven’t read any of these, although I do own copies of both Love Overdue and The Coldest Girl In Coldtown. Hopefully you’ll receive copies too and then we can read them together! ;)
Merry Christmas, Jana *Hugs* I’m so thankful that I was able to meet you this year.
Jen, you are so sweet! Thank you. :) I love the bows too, and it took me way too long. Haha.
You are SO right about the post-Christmas letdown. I was hungover for about a month last year, coming off my high of Christmas happiness. I’m hoping I don’t suffer so much this year! Haha.
I would love to do a couple buddy reads! I’ll have to let you know if I receive either of these books so that we can read them together! Maybe we could even post our discussions/thoughts to our blogs and make a mini feature or something!
Merry Christmas to you too, Jen! I’m SO glad we met too! Maybe someday it’ll be in person!
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a book that I’ve had my eye on as well. It sounds good.

Thanks, Erin! Happy holidays to you as well!
I read The Lost Girls a few years ago- they go to some really interesting places.
Hi there,
I hope that all your Christmas wishes come true, particularly your bookish ones.
With the size of my Wish List (high three figures and counting),I’m going to admit that it’s hard to pick a book or two. That said, thank you for adding another to my Wish List in “Love Overdue”. (Is it okay for a guy to want to read it?)
Have a lovely Christmas.
x
Thank you! And I see no problem with a guy wanting to read Love Overdue. Haha. It sounds really good! Merry Christmas!
Super cute graphics this week!!! Love the bows. I wouldn’t mind reading that Ellen Degeneres book (a lot of bios made my list this week, but not that one).

Thanks, Michelle! I love Ellen. She’s so funny, and I’m sure this book is awesome!
What a brilliant list. I love how you’ve set it out too. I loved The Coldest Girl In Coldtown. I hope Santa brings you these books or that you get your hands on them very soon! Happy Christmas!
Thanks, Chrissi! Merry Christmas!
I want to get A Tale of Two Centuries too! I hope you get every book on this list before the year ends ;P

Adorable graphics! Love that!
None of the books you listed are on my list. I must check them out! I have read Love Overdue though. I don’t want to ruin anything for you, but I had some issues with it. Overall though it was a cute read that I did enjoy for the most part. I hope you like it!
Thanks, Amy!
I’m kind of scared of Love Overdue now… Hopefully I enjoy it more than you did!
Oooh I love your picks! I definitely agree with Champion the most though– I haven’t even read Prodigy, and already it’s very exciting! :D The Coldest Girl In Coldtown was a bit weird, but it worked for me, and A Tale of Two Centuries sounds very interesting :)
I haven’t even read Legend! Haha. I just know I will want to binge read them all!
Elizabeth Eulberg’s novel just has the best title! I’ve read the first book in ML’s series but I now need to read on. I think what’s put me off is that they’re so short! So I wanted to wait until they were all out and I could dig in all at once. :-) Merry Christmas Eve honey! xx
I’ve also been waiting for all of ML’s books to be out. I own Legend and Prodigy, but I decided it would be more fun to read them all at once! Merry Christmas Eve to you as well!
Well I hope you enjoy them! :-)
OH! I just got Champion by Marie Lu! I haven’t had a chance to read it yet but I’m really excited and also a bit nervous about it! And I think the trilogy looks quite lovely when it is placed side by side. Great list – you have quite a few I didn’t think of! Hope you get some of them (: -Asheley
I have not read Legend or Prodigy yet! I just want Champion, because I know I’ll want to binge on the entire trilogy! I hope you enjoy Champion. :) Merry Christmas!
Loved Champion! Great list – Merry Christmas
Aw darn, I was this close to putting The Coldest Girl in Coldtown on my list.If I had decided to do an honorable mention section, that one would have definitely made my list.
You’re right about today being SUCH a magical day. It’s one of my all time favorite days, with tomorrow being my favorite of all time.I mean come on, food, family and fun? Life doesn’t get much better than that.
Merry Christmas Jana!
Merry Christmas, Alexia! I hope you enjoy these very magical days! And I hope you get everything you’re wishing for. :)
I want champion as well I read Legend back when it came out and haven’t read prodigy, but I loved Legend.
I haven’t even read Legend! I want to read them back to back to back!
Great picks! I really want to read The Coldest Girl in Cold Town too.
ADORABLE! I really want the Opal Mask book, mostly because of that awesome cover!
Here’s my TTT.
I hope you get all of the books in your list. I only read one book by Ellen and I must say I enjoyed reading it. Happy holidays!
