Welcome to another TTT! So sorry that I originally posted the wrong topic today! You can tell my eyes still aren’t working right, because I skipped this week’s topic and did next week’s instead! Whoops!
THIS week I’m sharing my favorite book settings! If a book takes place in one of these settings, I’m mushc more likely to read it.
Creepy Hotels/Apartment Buildings (Like in Lock Every Door by Riley Sager)
Alaska (I love the scenery and the Northern Lights)
Ships/Yachts/Boats (Bonus points if people are visiting cool places.)
Outdoor/Wilderness (Camping, survival stories, etc.)
Secluded Resorts (Like the Snow Crystal Ski Resort in Sarah Morgan’s O’Neil Brothers series)
Venice, Italy (Really, any place in Italy.)
New York City (I SO heart New York, especially at Christmas.)
Castles (Like in Say Yes to the Marquess by Tessa Dare)
Any place with snow!! (I love cabins, fireplaces, Christmas, blizzards, etc.)
Cute, quaint, picturesque small towns (Like Kristan Higgins’s Gideon’s Cove)
What are some of your favorite settings?

Always fun to learn of great bookish resources! Thanks for sharing, Jana. :)
Great resources. I hadn’t heard of some of these before. Thanks for sharing.
I thought we were doing favorite book settings this week, so that’s what I posted.
Oops! Clearly I haven’t recovered enough of my eyesight after surgery! I’ve fixed it, so this post is now about book settings. Thanks for letting me know. :) You’ll be seeing this post again next week. LOL
What Should I Read Next? sounds fun :) and Recaptains is a must, super useful site

Another fun topic. Thanks a lot, Jana.
OOh nice picks! I went with some generic and some specific places myself. This one was harder to do than I thought it would be!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
You must really love the snow! I hope you live somewhere that has plenty of it. :)

I almost included Alaska in my list but didn’t. It really wasn’t on my radar as a favorite setting but after spending the summer there, I have to say it’s a hard place to beat.
Alaska and Castles! Yes!
Sorry–I think I gave last week’s link!
I could only come up with five, LOL! I just love good books. I do love stories in quaint, small towns, and I love stories with snow and Christmas…so should have put that one on my list!
Great List Jana. I should have included Alaska on my list, I love that setting.
I love the way everyone interprets your prompts in their own way each week. These are some great settings!
I did a spooky twist on my list of favourite book settings, in honour of the R.I.P reading event, for which castles made my list too! However I do also love books set in Italy! 👻
I love New York as a setting myself. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/ten-more-books-about-books/
Castles are definitely a great setting! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
