  1. I didn’t grow up in a household with parents who liked rom-coms, so I didn’t watch them as a kid or teen, and now, even though I’m 29, I feel like I missed so many good ones that I should go back and catch up on! I haven’t seen any of these except The Proposal (which I loved), so I’m going to add these all to my Letterboxd watchlist! :D

  2. Letters to Juliet made my list. Music and Lyrics is up there for me , but I didn’t add it as so many great ones to choose from and went with ones I have seen over and over and over again. If I could make it a Top 15 – The Holiday, Music and Lyrics, Maid in Manhattan, How to Lose A Guy in Ten Days and The Ugly Truth would have been honorable mentions for me as I love my Chick Flick Movies.

  3. I always struggle with these lovey dovey titles because I don’t read those kind of books but I found some that work. Should have thought of your idea, movies. I have watched five of yours (1 and 5 to 8) and surely would have come up with some others. LOL. Hmmm, maybe next time. Thanks for that!

  4. I Love The Proposal!! And Also Father of The Bride, Just Go With it & The Holiday.! Here’s a few more, Crazy Stupid Love & Something Borrowed!! Happy February!💗

You have good taste in movies, I must say. I loved Music and Lyrics so much that I bought the soundtrack after I left the movie theater because it makes me so happy!

  5. Joanne

Oh I see a few on your list I haven’t watched! I also love Notting Hill, 50 First Dates, 2 Weeks Notice, Sweet Home Alabama, Failure to Launch, and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.

Those are all good ones, too! I wish romcom movies were as popular today as they were back when all these amazing ones were released. I miss having new ones to see!

Oh wow, I wish I could watch The Holiday again for the first time! It’s probably my favorite from the entire list.

13 Going On 30 is so cute. I love that one, too!

You’re right, Father of the Bride is probably more family than rom com. I added it because it was one of my favorite movies as a little girl, and I thought Annie’s romance with her fiance and the pretty wedding were so romantic and swoony to me that I’ve always thought of it as romance!
