Eight Completed Series I Wish Had More Books

Posted August 22, 2022 by Jana in Top Ten Tuesday / 13 Comments

Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is about completed series that I wish had more books. Turns out, this is a harder topic than I thought it would be! I haven’t finished many of the series I love, so I couldn’t come up with ten for this week. But that’s ok! I always say, make the topic work for you. :)

1. The Ravenels by Lisa Kleypas
I love the Ravenels family, and even though every family member got their own love story I miss them and want more!

2. Well Met by Jen DeLuca
I know #4 is coming out this December, but I’ve already read and loved it and I’m so sad to see the end of this series!

3. ExLibris Adventure by K.C. Dyer
ExLibris is a company that plans literary journeys for its clients. The first book is a journey along the same route as the one in Around the World In Eighty Days. The second one retraces Odysseus’s journey. I didn’t love the second book, but the first one is a favorite and I want more travel books like these!

4. Survival Instincts by Adriana Anders
I guess I don’t know if this series is officially over or not, but it kind of looks like it and I love romantic suspense and survival.

5. Spindle Cove by Tessa Dare
I LOVE Spindle Cove, and I love the ladies who live there and fall in love!

6. Castles Ever After by Tessa Dare
AHHH. I loved these!

7. Veronica Mars by Rob Thomas
These books were just as good as the show, and I’m sad only two were written!

8. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
I miss these characters!

Which completed series do you wish had more books?

  1. The Lunar Chronicles ended up on my list, too! I have the entire Ravenels set on Kindle, and the Castles Ever After series too. While I love the covers, I find I just don’t read mass market paperbacks that often anymore; I do better with a slightly larger font. So although I still have my favorite older romance series in paperback, I usually just buy the Kindlebooks now, and save my eyes and my shelf space.

  2. Oh my gosh – I didn’t watch Veronica Mars, but I also only have 8 on my list so far, that gave me such a good idea to look at the TV tie-ins I HAVE read. I remember being so bummed that there was one really great Sleepy Hollow tie-in, but it failed to develop into more (presumably due to poor sales, since it was a pretty standard monster-of-the-week plot and clearly not meant to bridge a gap in the series or anything).

Also…Survival Instincts sounds like it might fit my current craving, thanks for the tip.

  3. Lol. This was impossible for me to do because I haven’t finished any series that I love. So I put my own spin on the top ten. Thanks for hosting! :-)

  4. I agree, lots of the series I wish had more books actually DO have more books, I just haven’t finished reading them yet! It was harder than I expected to stick to only completed series that I’ve fully read for this prompt.
