Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic was submitted by Rachel @ Sunny Side, and features animals! I thought this was the perfect springtime topic, and was excited to add it to the schedule. These books can feature animals in any way you want: pictures of them on the cover, titles with animals in them, or books with noteworthy animals in them! I’ve chosen to share books from my to-read list that have animals on the cover.

You Lucky Dog by Julia London
A Cat Cafe Christmas by Codi Gary
There is Also a Dog by Kayley Loring
Raiders of the Lost Heart by Jo Segura
Mrs. Nash’s Ashes by Sarah Adler
Jana Goes Wild by Farah Heron
Doc Showmance by Zoe Forward
Lucy on the Wild Side by Kerry Rea
A Spot of Trouble by Teri Wilson
To Get to the Other Side by Kelly Ohlert
I haven’t read any of these yet, but I want to! Have you read any of them?
Can you think of a book that has a prominent animal friend in it? I wanted to do that topic instead, but couldn’t think of ten of them. I’d love recommendations!

Some of these, based on their titles and cover art alone seem like they’d be really fun reads! Those last two caught my eye and are making me curious to know more. :) Fun topic too!
They are all so bright and colourful!
Have a great week!
I like chicken! I read a lot of YA so I mostly see snakes 😂
THE chicken, THE chicken. I’m going to go drink coffee
OOh nice picks! All new to me ones too! I thought this one would be a little challenging but I ended up finding more than 10 when I started looking! Lol.
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Nice assortment of animals! I also have one that has a chicken on the cover :) Have a great week!
Lucy on the Wild Side was one I immediately thought of!
Okay these are really cute covers & seem like books I would enjoy reading just based on the covers alone. I’m going to be adding a few to my TBR ASAP. I mean a title that is ‘There is Also a Dog’ has me SOLD.
I loved A Cat Café Christmas!!
I’ve only read Lucy on the Wild Side, so I will have to check out the rest of these. I did animalistic book titles today.
I haven’t heard of any of these but they all look so cute and colorful! Just from the cover of You Lucky Dog, I definitely imagine a canine-themed meet-cute!
These covers are adorable! Hope you enjoy them all.
The Mrs. Murphy books by Rita Mae Brown would work for “books with a prominent animal friend”! And there’s enough books in that series that you could have pulled your entire TTT list from it. ;-) I think that a lot of cozy mystery series have animal companions, though, so you could take your pick from those.
In the U.S., today is National Pet Day, so great timing! :-)
Based purely on the names/titles, some (most?) of these need to go onto my Want To Read
Several of these are on my TBR. Love all the covers.
All those covers look so cute! I haven’t heard of any of those book though.
I have read Lucy on the Wild side. It’s pretty romantic and good read for a week.
