Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is Books With One-Word Titles and was submitted by Angela @ Reading Frenzy Book Blog. Thanks, Angela! I love a good title that sounds pretty and interesting, but sometimes one word can pack quite a punch. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite books with one-word titles. Many of these take me back to my YA days! I think there must have been a one-word title trend back then because there are so many!

Ledge by Stacey McEwan
Frost by Kate Avery Ellison
Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard
Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Boomerang by Noelle August
Roomies by Christina Lauren
Hunted by Meagan Spooner
Captivate by Vanessa Garden
Winter by Marissa Meyer
Can you think of any books with one-word titles that you love?
Did you and I pick any of the same books this week?

They’ve all got such pretty covers, too!
I had Jodi’s on my shelf for a while that I bought used online somewhere. Never read it though I always thought the cover was pretty. :)
Such beautiful covers! I especially like Ledge and Winter. Here’s my TTT: https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/07/18/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-one-word-titles-and-weekly-book-haul/
Oooh nice picks! Loved Shiver, Hunter, and Captivate! I still need to go back and re-read Captivate as a year or two back I learned she finished the series! I only ever read the first two books. Loved them so yeah, definitely need to go back!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

What a great list, Jana. They are beautiful covers. Have a beautiful day ☕🌞📚💜
These are so pretty. Apparently I love a lot of one word titles!
I thought this was going to be a hard topic, but I had more on my TBR than I thought I did. Great list!
This was a fun challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing many one-word titles. Yours are already all different from mine.
Thanks, Jana.
This is a fun topic. I have “Shiver” on my list too, though it’s a different book!
I thought there would be a lot of overlap between titles this TTT, but there are quite a few new to me books on your list. The only one I have read is Winter, and I forgot to add it to my list.
Fun list! One word titles seem to be a trend that comes around every few years. I guess when we all need a break from the long title trends (like the “[X] of [Y] and [Z]” or “[someone’s] guide to [something]” trends from recent years).
I have a Lunar Chronicles book on my list too, but I went with book one since I haven’t read any of them yet.
Shiver and Roomies! I loved those two. Great choices today.
Love the cover for Frost!
Great list, I really enjoyed Shiver and Winter when I read them years ago!
Love the look of lots of these YA titles.
I think you’re right! There were a lot of one-word title YA books back in the day. The whole Lunar Chronicles series, for one.
Happy TTT!
