Top Ten Books Featuring Water on the Cover

Posted August 28, 2023 by Jana in Top Ten Tuesday / 14 Comments

Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic is super broad: Water. These can be books that take place on/in/under the water, books with water/bodies of water in the title or on the cover, etc. If you know me, you know I love a pretty cover so I decided to share book covers with water or bodies of water on them! These are all books I’ve either read and enjoyed, or hope to read soon!

Would You Rather by Allison Ashley
(I know this is not the cover the book ended up being published with, but I wish it was and this is my form of protest.)

The Secret by Julie Garwood

438 Days: An Extraordinary True Story of Survival at Sea by Jonathan Franklin

Catch of the Day by Kristan Higgins

Rebound by Noelle August

Captivate by Vanessa Garden

On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves

By Love or By Sea by Rachel Rager

The Love Academy by Belinda Jones

The Widow by Carla Neggers

  1. I agree! That version of Allison’s book is so pretty. It’s so much more striking than the one it ends up with… but I am still curious about the story. :)

  2. Ooh nice picks! I went with Captivate too! I still need to read the rest of that series! I did finally buy the rest once the author was able to self publish them! Definitely have to reread the first two since I’ve zero memory about them! This topic was fun! I didn’t realize how many times I saw water on covers!

    Here’s my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

I love your “form of protest.” That cover made me click the link with interest, only to feel my enthusiasm immediately flatten like the art on the cartoon cover when I saw the latter.

Anyway, what a soothing spread of blue. :)
