Top Ten Best Books I Read in 2024

Posted December 30, 2024 by Jana in Top Ten Tuesday / 28 Comments

Welcome to another TTT! I hope you had a merry Christmas last week! I wanted to take a minute to thank those who sent me books from my wish list! I was so touched and delighted to find these books in the mail. Thank you to Nicole @ BookWyrm Knits for Some Winter’s Evening by Erin Langston, Carla from Carla’s Book Crush for Within These Gilded Halls by Abigail Wilson, and Rissi from Culture Characteristics/RissiWrites.com for The Christmas You Found Me by Sarah Morgenthaler and Selling Out by Martha Keyes! I will be cozying up with all of these as I ring in the new year this week. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.

As we close out another year, it’s time to reflect on all the amazing books we’ve read in 2024! Today I’m sharing my top ten favorite books I read this year, regardless of their publication date, in the order I read them. I’m excited to come see your top ten list and break my TBR once again!

1. Never Blow a Kiss by Lindsay Lovise
2. Old Flames and New Fortunes by Sarah Hogle
3. Business Casual by B.K. Borison
4. Just Friends Forever by Martha Keyes
5. The Honeymoon Crashers by Christina Lauren
6. One Last Shot by Betty Cayouette
7. The One with the Kiss Cam by Cindy Steel
8. Four Weekends and a Funeral by Ellie Palmer
9. The Christmas You Found Me by Sarah Morgenthaler
10. The Spellshop by Sarah Beth Durst

What was your favorite read of 2024?
Happy, happy New Year to you! I wish you all the best in 2025, and hope it’s filled with love and joy.

The Spellshop made my list too. Haven’t read any of the others, but again, will definitely be taking them as recs! Cheers to another successful year of TTT.

Thanks for hosting Top Ten Tuesday this year again. I love taking part and reading everyone’s responses to the prompt. All the best for 2025!

  3. These sound great, Jana. I still haven’t read The Honeymoon Crashers, but it is on my list to read one day. Happy New Year’s Eve! Wishing you a new year of good health, happiness, and prosperity.

  4. Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year and to say thanks for hosting Top Ten Tuesday every week. I know it must be alot of work, but I know I really enjoy participating in it. Wishing you every good thing in 2025. :D

  5. That’s wonderful that you received so many books from your wishlist. How lovely. I haven’t heard of a lot of these (I used to love contemporary but really need to get back into the genre) but I’m very excited about The Spellshop and hope to read it soon. I’ve heard good things about Christina Lauren too. I enjoyed the book that I’ve read by her but wasn’t blown away although I do think I picked one of her least popular ones to try first 🙈
