Top Ten Books I’d Like to Re-read Soon

Posted July 7, 2025 by Jana in Top Ten Tuesday / 14 Comments

Welcome to another TTT! This week’s topic was submitted through the topic request form by Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog and is Books I’d Like to Re-read! I’ve done this topic before so I added the “soon”, which means that I’m actually hoping to prioritize re-reading these books now. I’m in a book slump and I’m hoping that re-reading some favorites will help get me back in the groove! So here we go!

Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros (all three books, actually)
The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn
Enemies Abroad by R.S. Grey
The Christmas Dress by Courtney Cole
Call Me Maybe by Cara Bastone
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss
Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas (the entire Ravenels series)
You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle
Desert Island Duke by Kate Bateman

What book have you been itching to re-read?

Are you a re-reader? I never used to be because I felt like I didn’t have time to re-read books when my TBR is a millennium long but I’ve come around to it because I’ve discovered the comfort reads exist and make me happy!

  1. I read Jenny’s quite a while ago. Reminds me that I need to read the other one I have on my shelf by her. :) Thanks, as always, for putting these together, Jana.

  2. Oh nice picks! I almost wouldn’t mind re-reading Fourth Wing either as I still need to read the next two! I held off because I knew there would be killer cliffhangers and from what I’ve heard there were! Lol. But I do honestly hope to maybe pick them up later this year if I am lucky!

    Here’s my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower :)

  3. I reread fourth wing last fall to get myself to read the second book but then never ended up picking up the second. I really need to get back into the series.

  4. I am sorry to hear about the book slump! I am binge reading Beth Brower’s The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion and they are great! I am thrilled to have no book obligations and to be able to do this. I hope your re-reading of these favorites are the cure you need!

  5. I always get the itch to re-read a book before the movie version comes out so I can compare/contrast, but then I usually don’t like Hollywood’s versions of books I enjoyed so I don’t end up watching them anyway! I’m not sure what I think of the trailer for PROJECT HAIL MARY…it makes me a little nervous. I hope you enjoy all these re-reads (again).

    Happy TTT!

  6. Yes, The Diamond Eye is definitely in the reread column. My personal favorite Quinn novel is The Rose Code, which I have already read twice, and I’ve also read The Briar Club twice. Such a great historical novelist.
