Welcome to another TTT! This week is freebie week, which means you get to come up with whatever topic your heart desires! Don’t be surprised if I pop up in your comments letting you know I’m planning to put your topic on the schedule sometime in the future (with credit to you, of course!). This is Top Ten Tuesday’s 813th week in existence. That’s just over 15 and a half years! It’s hard to come up with new and unique topics, so I will take all the help I can get!
I chose to share my ten most recent 5-star reads. If you tend to trust my reviews and find that we frequently agree on books, then this is the post for you! It takes a lot to get 5 stars out of me, so trust when I say that these are some of the best of the best. In my opinion, anyway. :)

Sea of Charms by Sarah Beth Durst*
My Lucky Charm by Courtney Walsh*
And Now, Back to You by B.K. Borison
Acting Merry by Martha Keyes*
Snowed In by Catherine Walsh
Falling by Christina Lauren
Metal Slinger by Rachel Schneider
The Phantom of Drury Lane by Kate Bateman
The Promise of a Kiss by K.C. Bateman
The Dating Game by Jenny Proctor*
*no spice/closed-door romance
Have you read and enjoyed any of these as much as I did?
What topic did you come up with this week?

Still haven’t read Courtney’s hockey books but they do look good!!! Thanks for all you do to keep TTT going. :)
It’s one of my favorite series! I’m planning to read the Christmas one soon. :)
And you’re welcome! Thank you for always coming to support TTT. :)
I haven’t read any of these, but they do look like good books. Great choices.
Wow 15 and a half years! I’m currently on 4 years, 5 in June.
After reading The Spell Shop by Sarah Beth Durst I was a bit meh and haven’t read any of the others. Is The Sea of Charms better?
Have a great week!
I adored The Spellshop, but I think I loved this one more! It takes place on the water and features a swoonier romance (in my opinion), a cuter talking plant, and the best singing sea serpent companion. I DNFed the second book in this series because I found it to be boring and lacking in charm, but Sea of Charms is a huge win for me!
Interesting. I might have to give that one a go. The Spell Shop was good, but I felt that the middle dragged. There wasn’t enough going on for me.
The feeling is still very much cozy, meandering, etc. But this one did seem to have more meat on its bones. The stakes were a bit higher and it was harder for me to put down. I tend to read books like this before going to sleep so I’m not kept up all night. This one kept me up. lol. Oops! Let me know if you give it a try!
I do like a cosy feel. I don’t know, it was just when she was tidying away and building the shop that my mind wandered. She had arrived in such a dramatic fashion that I felt it could have been more attention grabbing.
Ooooo I do like a book that I can’t put down!
I will do. I am busy until about August at the moment so we shall see 😂 I’m trying not to get so many deadline books, but have failed so far!
Great choices, Jana. Love the snowy ones.
The cover on Sea of Charms is beautiful! Steal away! Although my freebie for today is pretty obscure. No biggie about recycling topics either. I’m sure the answers will be different over time.
I have started recycling old topics and will probably continue to do that! I agree that I’m sure I’d come up with different choices for many of them now!
That twist for MetalSlinger was something! Thanks for sharing your #TTT
Ooh nice topic choice! I guess I’ve always been a bit more generous with the 5 star rating. I tend to know what I like, so if I really enjoyed a book I wind up giving it 5 stars! Although lately, I have been doing more 4 or 4.5 stars as there’s always seems to be some tiny little thing that holds me back from the full 5 stars. Weird. Lol.
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Thank you! I’m usually in the same boat as you, but I’ve been in a major reading slump for the past year or so and I’m having trouble finding 5-star reads. All 10 of my picks this week have been read in the last year, though, so I think I’m doing pretty good all things considered!
I have not read any of these. I do want to say that the book cover for Sea of Charms by Sarah Beth Durst is so beautiful, I just want to go for a walk through this scene.
The cover is one of my favorites! And the story is just as beautiful!
That is a great idea for a freebie. Might have to remember that for the next time.
My topic was Food.
Thank you! Yes, feel free to use it next time. :)
Food is a fun topic!
I still have plenty of topics on my list but this will come one day. Thanks.
And yes, it was lovely to do the food page. Many comments of people who loved it, as well.
I almost did this too! I really enjoyed And Now, Back to You!
Metal Slinger is still on my TBR! Love seeing people’s 5 star reads!
Good topic! I think a few of today’s freebie topics would make good TTT topics.
I’m making my way through the Linky now and I love all the creative topic choices! Some will absolutely be showing up on the schedule in the future. :)
I also loved My Lucky Charm and Acting Merry! Have a good week.
I only read Metal Slinger from your list, but didn’t rate it 5 stars. My only 5 star read for this year so far is A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross.
My TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2026/04/28/top-ten-tuesday-royal-books/
I love Rebecca Ross’s books. :)
I have not read these but I am interested in Jenny Proctor’s and Courtney Walsh’s. The others I will have to look up. Thanks for the list!
I hope you enjoy them when you get to them!
The cover for Sea of Charms is beautiful! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It’s one of my favorite covers ever!
Eeee! I can’t wait to read Sea of Charms! I’m glad it was a 5-star read for you.
I think it’s my favorite of the series so far! I could not get enough of it and have not been able to stop thinking about it!
