Welcome to another TTT! Since it’s officially summer now and I am officially melting in the heat and being poisoned by all the wildfire smoke in the air (Utah currently has the largest wildfire in the USA, plus a bunch of others. Any prayers, thoughts, good vibes, etc. for the firefighters, first responders, and those suffering as a result of these fires would be much appreciated) I thought it only fitting to choose the word “hot” for this week’s topic. If I’ve read the book, I’ll include my star rating. All others are on my to-read list!
Hotshot Doc by R.S. Grey (5 stars)
White-Hot Hack by Tracey Garvis Graves
A Hot Scot for Christmas by Gina Conkle
Hot to Go by Kristen Bailey
Hot for Slayer by Ali Hazelwood (4 stars)
The Heiress and the Hothead by Sabrina Jeffries
Too Hot by Wendy Dalrymple
The Red Hot Earl by Darcy Burke
Hot Shot by Robin Bielman
Hot Pursuit by Kay Marie
What word did you pick for this week’s topic?

Hotshot Doc has just gone on my TBR. And I do hope it cools down and those fires come under control.
I’m sorry to hear of the fires, I’m all too familiar with them. Wishing safety and strength to all those affected.
A great idea for a list.
Sending love and prayers to you all. It’s a horrible time at the moment. The school run is awful!
Fab list. Stay safe!
Sorry to hear about the wildfires and hope all are safe.
I haven’t read any of yours although I do like Kristen Bailey’s books.
It’s definitely hot in the Midwest as well but with a lot more humidity which makes summers awful! These are all new to me titles, I can’t think of too many that have “hot” in it myself. One JLA title comes to mind of course, lol.
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Hot is certainly appropriate. Hoping the fires get contained quickly.
“Hot” is definitely a good word for summer!
Good Choices. The word I picked was Time.
Ugh, so sorry to hear about the wildfires. Too hot sounds about right with the heatwave that has been sweeping the country. Have a good week, and will be praying the wildfires get under control.
I’m so sorry to hear about all the terrible wild fires in your area, definitely sending all the good vibes for everyone affected. ❤️ Hot is an apt word, there have been heat waves where I live but luckily now it’s gone back down to normal summer temps. That being said I wouldn’t mind having a Hot Scot for Christmas 😂!
Ooh, hot was a good work to pick right now! I went with summer for my list.
Fire season is terrifying. I hope there’s still FEMA for people. My word is “summer” but all books are brand new.
My prayers go out to you and all affected by the wildfires 🙏 Hot is definitely a good choice of word for the current heatwave, even here in the UK we’re struggling! I simply chose the word ‘and’ because I wanted to use books I owned, so I could share some lovely covers. 😊
The past week has been very hot. Thankfully it has cooled down a bit! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I wasn’t able to do last week’s TTT, so I went with that prompt this week, instead of this one. I’m thinking I might pull together a second TTT post this week, though—if I have time. “Dragon” seems like a good word for a bookwyrm to choose!
Perfect theme for July!
Great choice for your word today, Jana. I was traveling last Tuesday, so I did my top ten anticipated books today.
It’s so sad that Utah is being burned up. You all are definitely in my prayers.
I’m not familiar with any of these titles. “Hot” is definitely an appropriate word right now. The heat is ridiculous here in Arizona.
Happy TTT!

I’m so sorry about the heat and the wildfires. I hope it gets better for everyone affected, it sounds tough. Sending all the prayers, thoughts, and good vibes.
