Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at the other blog I write for, The Broke and the Bookish.
Valentine’s Day is this week, and so we’re talking all about the books with those really swoony romances or heart-stealing boys! I love romances, so I am super excited to tell you all about my favorites! Clicking on the hearts will take you to my reviews. :)
And there you have it! I tried to leave out some of the obvious choices, even thought I SO wanted to add Anna and the French Kiss, Lola and the Boy Next Door, and yes… Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Boy, did I ever swoon with that book. Tell me what some of your favorite swoonworthy books are! Seriously, I WANT recommendations. Do you agree with my choices?
Ignite Me. I mean, there’s two chapters in there that specifically made me swoon. Also Crown of Midnight. Because Chaol. I might have to give Siege and Storm the slight edge over Shadow and Bone. Both are wonderful though. I can’t wait for Ruin & Rising.

I’m reading Shatter Me right now, and I’m excited for the swoony two chapters in Ignite me! I’ve heard a lot about them!
And YES. Crown of Midnight! I forgot that one! I do agree with you on Siege and Storm. I picked the first books in series, just because pretty much the whole series is swoony in my eyes. I can’t wait for Ruin and Rising either!!
I love that you linked Cress because I had no idea it had a strong romantic story line. I’m SUPER interested in starting The Lunar Chronicles, so I can’t wait to go check out that review. :)

Captain Thorne, one of the main guys, is SUPER swoony. You should definitely read them as soon as possible! :)
I need to read These Broken Stars. It’s killing me inside. We have a number of the same books on our lists this week. But there are a few that I haven’t read.
Great list!

YES YOU DO! I must say, I was disappointed in its companion, but Just One Day is a fave, for sure.
Your list looks beautiful this week! Great job. I really loved Cress. It very nearly made my list too. I loved These Broken Stars. Fantastic choices!

Thank you!
And yes, Cress was AMAZING!
I hadn’t heard of Nocturne but your review has totally sold me on it. Great list!

Oh, Nocturne is SO GOOD. I hope you love it!
These Broken Stars? Need to check that one out!
Here’s my list of books that will make you swoon.
DO IT. It’s so unique and wonderful! Very swoony.
Definitely Cress! I’m nearly done with and and ahhhhh THORNE

I know! Thorne stole my heart completely. *swoons*
So, Cress is swoony?? I’m listening to it right now, and I want it to last forever. Because I love this series SO. MUCH.

Cress is swoony because I love Thorne and Wolf. Those guys are super smitten and swoony. I’d love to listen to Cress! I might have to look into that.
Your list is so pretty! There are a lot of books that I liked here. I think Cress is fairly swoony. I’ve loved Captain Thorne since Scarlet but he ups his appeal in Cress. I really want to read Austenland – it feels like it’d be fairly swoonworthy. Did you see the movie?

Thanks!
Thorne definitely grabbed me with Cress. I wasn’t smitten with him until that book. Austenland is adorable! I have not seen the movie, but I pre-ordered it and it will get here tomorrow! :)
I don’t think I’ve read any of your picks–which I plan to rectify shortly in the case of Cress and These Broken Stars–except Austenland (and Twilight). Both those romances fell a little flat for me. But I’m not a big romance person. :)

YES to Cress and These Broken Stars! I’m excited you’re going to read them!
Twilight… I’m not sure if I would swoon now. I read it long ago, and have read SO many amazing books since then!
I can see why Austenland is not for everyone. I adored it, though.
I’m currently reading Cress. I just read page 36 and OMG! They are all so adorable and then Iko… I have never been swooning like that before, especially that early in a book!
I need to get These Broken Stars! I’ve already seen it on a couple of lists and I could use some more swoon worthy books!

Oh, if only I could experience Cress for the first time all over again! I miss how much I loved it! They are all SO cute, and it gets WAY better. So excited for you!@
Yes to These Broken Stars. A must read if you’re the swooning type. :)
I haven’t read Just One Day, but I loved (and swooned) If I Stay and Where She Went.

I’m terrified of the sadness of If I Stay/Where She Went. Definitely read Just One Day! I loved it!
Ahhh so many great choices! Of course I’m with you on Cress, Shadow and Bone, and Just One Day. (Wait, why didn’t I put JOD on my list!?!? Oh, I already had one Gayle book on there. False alarm!)
Totally love UtNS too! I think it took my longer to swoon there but Into the Still Blue…. Totally!

Great minds think alike! And yes, I agree that Into the Still Blue is more swoony… Haha. But in retrospect, the entire trilogy is now. So I’m good. :P
S&B, CRESS (I adore Thorne), TBS, JOD…so much swoon!!
Fabulous choices :)
