This week’s topic is books I meant to read in 2018 but never got to. I decided to limit it further to books that came out in 2018 (that I was REALLY excited about), but never got to. I still really want to read these books, and will be making them somewhat of a priority for this year (although I’m quite the mood reader so this most likely won’t even happen. Don’t judge me.). I’m kind of surprised I never made time for them, but again… I’m a mood reader!
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
Legendary by Stephanie Garber
A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
(I know this came out in 2017, but I need to read it so I can read… )
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas
The Woman In the Window by A.J. Finn
My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren
Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West
My Lady’s Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel by Kitty Curran
The Broken Girls by Simone St. James
Have you read any of these?
Which should I prioritize?
Which ones aren’t worth worrying about?
What 2018 books are you surprised you still haven’t read yet?

I meant to read “Listen To Your Heart” as well, but didn’t add it to my list today. Still, as it’s Kasie West, I know I’ll read it soon, and chances are high I’ll enjoy it, too! Hope you enjoy these when you can read them, Jana. :)

I raced through A Court of Mist And Fury as well as A Court of Wings and Ruin early last year and loved them! Still have to read ACOFAS though. 🙂
I meant to get to Legendary too! One of the many books that spent 2018 sitting on my shelves…

I loved My Oxford Year and recommend it if you looking for a romance. I raced through it last year and but forgot to take notes so couldn’t write a review, except ‘I really enjoyed this one’. I won’t be making that mistake again!!!
Ooooooooh you should read ACOWAR and ACOFAS! The novella is such a delightful bridge between this series and the next one. My Oxford Year was a real big surprise for me, you definitely should read it!
I thought The Broken Girls was a pretty good read. You should definitely check that one out when you have the time.
This is my Top Ten Tuesday post.

I felt like I was always behind on the ACOTAR series too! I did finally get caught up! And ooh Legendary! I LOOOOOOOVED that one! Hope you get to read all of these sometime soon!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
So, uh, a lot of us didn’t get to Legendary it seems. I am guilty as well, but my co-blogger did review it for the blog. So, at least we met the commitment. I missed Oxford too, but am still interested in reading it. My Lady’s Choosing was fun and actually quick, because you jump all over the book. I think I did two or three passes with it. I thought West’s book was classic West, sweet and adorable.
Great list! My Lady’s Choosing sounds so fun, I really need to check it out at some point.

I LOVED The Woman In the Window! I’m not sure if you’re into watching the movie before/after reading the book, but that one is being made into a movie coming out this October. I have yet to read any Christina Lauren book, and that one is on my TBR!

I have had the woman in the window sitting on my tbr for what feels like ages, it didn’t make my list though as there have been too many new ones since.
I read ACOFAS and wasn’t too impressed with it to be honest but I loved ACOWAR.
Christina Lauren is an author I hope to read this year…

It’s impossible to read ALL the books we want to read. I could have made a top 100 list for this one probably!

Great list! I haven’t read any of these but the idea of a Choose-Your-Own-Romance book fascinates me, so I’d say read”My Lady’s Choosing” so that I can read your review of it. ;-)

The Governess Game and Listen to Your Heart are both fun, quick romances that I enjoyed. The Woman in the Window was only okay for me but I know a ton of people love it.

I thought The Woman in the Window was AWESOME! And the author is a very funny guy! (Cute, too!)
I wasn’t a fan of The Woman in the Window and it was on my worst books list but hope you like it as I am in the minority. :)

The Broken Girls was such a good goosebump-inducing book! It’s actually the only 2018 release I got my hands on, haha. I’d recommend reading it around Halloween/November for full atmospheric effect. A gray winter day would probably work too.
I loved the court series. Need to read Legendary as well. Have borrowed My lady’s Choosing and My Oxford Year as next to read (fit a book challenge.
My Oxford Year and The Broken Girls seem like I would enjoy them. Great that you limited your list. I opted to go with books at the beginning of 2018 I said I would read that are still unread. Sigh!
The Governess Game is really good! But I still prefer The Duchess Deal. I love love Tessa Dare books!

I only just became aware of Top Ten Tuesday a couple of days ago but wanted to contribute to this topic. I guess I’m a bit late to link up my list above, but I hope people will still be interested in checking it out:
